Transaction standard
Alvea Brokerage Method™
The structured process used by Alvea Yachts to coordinate a yacht transaction from qualified enquiry to completion—with clear communication, defined stages and one consistent point of contact.
Independent yacht brokerage · Established 2006

Structured representation
Clarity throughout the transaction
Experienced buyers and sellers do not need unnecessary layers. They need relevant information, timely decisions and a broker who remains accountable throughout the process.
The Alvea Brokerage Method™ provides a consistent framework while adapting to the yacht, the parties, the jurisdiction and the agreed terms of each transaction.
The Alvea Brokerage Method™ governs how the transaction is coordinated. The Alvea Signature Listing™ Standard defines how the yacht is presented.
The transaction framework
Four stages
One accountable process
Each stage has a clear purpose, with material information and decisions recorded as the transaction progresses.
Enquiry
We confirm objectives, timing, decision criteria and the scope of the mandate. The result is a qualified brief and a clear next step.
Evaluation
We organise available records, questions and viewing requirements. The result is a structured information record and an agreed evaluation plan.
Negotiation
Offers, counteroffers, conditions and timelines are communicated in writing, creating a documented commercial basis for the parties and their advisers.
Completion
We coordinate contract, survey and sea trial where applicable, closing and delivery through an agreed sequence of responsibilities and timing.
The working principle
The method is structured, but not mechanical. The sequence is adjusted where the transaction requires discretion, cross-border coordination, financing, corporate ownership or additional technical and legal review.
One process · Two perspectives
Representation aligned with the client
The broker’s role, the client represented and the scope of the mandate are made clear from the outset. The process then focuses on the decisions, information and coordination relevant to that mandate.
When Alvea represents the seller
- Preparation and positioning of the yacht
- Management and qualification of enquiries
- Coordination of viewings and offers
- Transaction support through survey and completion
When Alvea represents the buyer
- Relevant information for initial evaluation
- Coordination of viewings and discussions
- Clear communication of offers and conditions
- Support through due diligence and delivery
Continuity of representation
One dedicated broker
One broker remains the client’s principal point of contact from the first substantive discussion to completion. This preserves context, reduces fragmented communication and provides clear responsibility for the next step.
Independent advice
Alvea acts as a yacht broker and transaction coordinator. Technical, legal, tax, financial and insurance matters should be reviewed by suitably qualified independent professionals appointed by the relevant party.
